Big Sur, CA.
Should you be a skeptic in the beauty of nature or such divinity of it, I couldn't recommend a better cure than that of Big Sur. A large swath of coast south of Monterey, banked with the Santa Lucia Mountain Range which creates dramatic cliffs and Redwood valleys.
With the rugged terrain comes the connections of Highway 1 via bridges such as the world-famous Bixby Bridge. Even on these dramatic cliff areas, ranchers have found ways for centuries to plot pastures for cattle and grazing.
Big Sur draws in many people. Famed authors and geniuses of past generations have often written about the area, proving that its divinity is a given truth. Whenever I travel down to Big Sur to photograph, I can't help but be amazed by the might I see through my camera's viewfinder.
