Being in Jackson for a brief time, one night and a day, I spent quite a while downtown. It started late one evening, going from neon lights to neon lights, exploring the busy town. At night, Jackson is packed with many partying people, going from bar to bar, all under the cover of the neon.
Soon, dawn would come over the Tetons and the bar people would crawl away, then a busy crowd of tourists flowing through would take over. They go from shop to shop, taking pictures in front of Jackson's iconic walkways.
Leaving Jackson the terrain quickly overtakes, you start entering large open plains that go on for miles, but then suddenly you reach a halting mountain range, the Tetons.
