Red rock follows you wherever you go in this small town. Moab, stationed between two of Utah's five national parks is a key spot for many coming through to stop and rest the night after viewing the famous rock which cradles the sleepy town. Moab has always served as a crossroad like this, for a long time being the only point where you could cross the Colorado river. This gave the area the key to the entire rest of the West itself.
